TPFerro operates and maintains the high-speed line on the Mediterranean coast between Perpignan, France and Figueras, Spain. In coordination with the national authorities, it has set specific organization for crisis situations involving its own resources, as well as the two national administrations. The extensive variety of risks imposes TPFerro to take mitigation measures on all the components of the railway system: technical, human and organisational components. With this organization and mitigations measures, TP Ferro is attempting to reconcile two antagonistic requirements: minimizing the consequences to mobility of trains and ensuring the maximum level of safety during crisis and incident treatment.
