At Saudi Railway Company (SAR), this approach limited safetyÕs impact on decision-making and culture.To address this, SAR launched a transformation redefining safety as an organizational belief embedded across systems and behaviours. Leveraging AI-powered inference engines, real-time data acquisition, and systemic feedback loops, SAR replaced reactive frameworks with a cyber-physical model that enables proactive risk management and enterprise-wide situational awareness.The results were significant: safety-related delays dropped by 72%, compliance deviations fell by 23%, and predictive models reached 71% accuracy in flagging near-misses. Over 700,000 interactions were logged through the AI Safety Chat Engine with 88% satisfaction, while employee engagement rose to 93%. These outcomes reflect a global shift, where technology, culture, and governance converge to ensure safer, smarter, and more resilient rail operations.
